Chelsea in Bloom
Every year in Chelsea it plays host to the Chelsea Flower Show, but Chelsea has its own little festival Chelsea in Bloom where the shops have wonderful Window Displays dotted around.
This year the theme was in honour of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Wedding; The Summer of Love. Talk about relationship goals when there are floral displays celebrating your love. Each display is it own style of The Summer of Love theme that embodies 60/70's cultural revolution and the Royal Wedding.
Now in its 13th year, this flower show in Chelsea was in full bloom from the 21 to 26 May. You are able to grab a map online or at the information booth at Sloane Square of all the places to visit throughout Chelsea. There is so much beautiful floral displays to see throughout, it will be hard to pick your favourite. It is best to go at the beginning of the festival and in the morning when it is quiet and the flower are in full bloom. It is a great morning out in London during Spring.
If you want to walk a bit further in London Berkeley Square and Covent Garden had a little In Bloom Festival too. Annabel's in Berkeley Square went all out covered head to toe in beautiful pink blooms with door men in great floral suits. Covent Garden in Bloom is a summer event during May and June with little flower displays dotted around the market along with some shops joining in on the fun.
In my age there is nothing more beautiful than flowers draped all around us.
